  Ex-employee. I did everything the right way, I took another job and gave them a one month notice as I was in management and assumed they would need the time. We agreed on a final day for me contingent on them finding a replacement in time. 2 days later they told me to leave and not come back, I wasn't fired they said, I quit... but I gave my new employer a start date that was a month away. In the mean time upper management had called my new employer telling them not to hire me, said some of the most immature things about me to customers and all in all tried to trash my name so I couldn't work in the industry anymore. Have you seen the movie Waiting? Where the guy goes to quit and the boss says "you can't quit your fired!"..... felt exactly like that.... bunch of children running that company. Rent A Center.... SELL ALREADY! Buddys would love to service your customers for you :)
